Shawnna L.M. Bolick, a transplant to the Valley, wanted to write a family-friendly resource guide about all of the cool activities and sights around the state, especially around the Phoenix metro area. As a stay-at-home mom, her goal was to find activities for kids to enjoy from birth to age 18 that would not only be fun but enhance learning.  Shawnna lives in Northeast Phoenix with her husband and two children.

Ms. Bolick has appeared on KPNX-TV Arizona Midday with Jineane Ford to discuss Playtime in Phoenix and her family's favorite places around the Valley and Phoenix.

The Arizona Republic featured Playtime in Phoenix in Arizona Living as Valley families seek out free or inexpensive activities to do with their kids.

Shawnna has appeared at Barnes and Noble-Scottsdale, Barnes and Noble-Kierland Commons, and Barnes and Noble-Chandler to sign copies of her book. Most recently, she signed copies of her book at JustKidz-- Basically Kidzwear's in Scottsdale.
